My client a leading software company is seeking a financial analyst to join their rapidly expanding team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will have experience in accountant and finance, financial reporting, budget submission, forecasting, working with sage packages, strong numeracy and analytical skills and an accurate eye for detail. Ideally you should have an interested in management accounting.

Essential Skills

Accountant/ analyst background ideally in management accounting

Working towards CIMA/ACCA/ACA or any management accounting qualifications

Financial reporting experience, forecasting and budget experience

Strong numeracy and analytical skills

Desirable Skills

Sage 200

Worked with multi national companies

Financial SME experience

Job Description

The successful candidate will analyse and report on monitoring performance, forecast, questioning assumptions and challenging the results as well as being responsible for the preparation and accuracy of revenue and cost of sales accounting entries. They will also assist balance sheet reconciliations for all revenue and WIP accounts every month and review these with the Management Accountant. The is an opportunity to progress into a management accounting role in the future so great career progression.
