The Role

The Project Manager - Accounting Software will lead the implementation of a cloud-based accountancy software package, mapping (and challenging!) current business processes and delivering the new system to capture, perform and deliver the required information to the user.

The Project Manager - Accounting Software will provide support, training and implementation assistance to new and existing customers, assisting at pre-sales stage as required and demonstrating how the accounting package and software should be used to meet statutory and common accounting requirements in the UK.

Our European, Bristol based, client is a market-leading cloud based accounting solution provider and has been building up a customer base in the UK since 2011 with its easy to configure and use accountancy software package. Their finance, project and business information system is totally web-based offering users immediate access to current information including financials and accounting, banking and cash management, invoicing, project, purchasing and customer and supplier activity.

The Person

The Project Manager - Accounting Software will be happy to travel and multi-task as part of a small team of product experts, delivering implementation, training, documentation, consultancy and support. This is an excellent opportunity for a (qualified) accountant who finds the system, customers and people aspects of business more challenging than the audit / process side.

You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant ( ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA etc. ), self-motivated, an excellent communicator with experience of using / implementing mid-range accounting software (e.g. Agresso, Netsuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage 200, Deltek etc.).
