Salary, Grade 3: £23,825 per annum including London Weighting
A very exciting opportunity for a high quality and pro-active Estates Officer to ensure the smooth operational running of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, a leading Higher Education conservatoire specialising in the theatre arts.
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for opening and closing the School's buildings, portering duties, patrolling the School's premises, undertaking minor repairs and any other ad hoc duties as required.
You will be committed to excellence in customer care, be punctual, trustworthy and honest with a good attention to detail. Proven experience of working in a building maintenance environment is essential, as is having the flexibility to respond to organisational needs and work effectively under pressure.
This post will require the ability to carry out tasks that require a range of sensory and physical demands, for example, regular lifting and handling heavy objects. In addition, the appointee will be contracted 35 hours to a six day week rota with occasional Sunday working.
