As a highly experienced electrician, you know what it takes to develop and train the next generation of apprentices. We’re not just talking about your formal training and assessment qualifications. Quite simply, this is an excellent opportunity to broaden your skills, manage a small cohort of apprentices and give something back to the industry.

Already a highly effective and experienced electrical installation assessor, you will do more than just develop course materials. You will actively promote the centre’s activities, build relationships with external parties, assist with industry events and keep abreast of the latest developments in your field so that we can continue to develop our services. You will also be responsible for the welfare and safety of apprentices at all times, and ensure that all necessary administrative work is completed appropriately.

Along with an Electrical NVQ3 or equivalent, you must have proven on the job experience and good presentation and IT skills. You are likely to have Assessor qualifications (D32, D33 or A1) and a recognised Health and Safety qualification. This role also calls for a teaching qualification and experience of teaching an Electrical Installations syllabus, although we would be happy to support your development in this area. A working knowledge of the Contracting/Building and Services industry would be particularly welcome.
