Accounting & Financial Reporting Associate Director

TO Resourcing are delighted to be working with a leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services who are currently looking to recruit an Associate Director for the Accounting & Financial Reporting Group. The role will take responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients, delivering first class accounting and tax services, developing sustainable relationships while practising the principles of excellent client service at all times.


You will also oversee the work of junior members of the team, planning assignments and ensuring that work including the preparation of management and financial accounts, preparing VAT returns, as well as some bookkeeping and ledger work, is completed to a high standard and within agreed budgets. You will be expected to demonstrate an advanced level of technical accounting as you become a key member of the group. Required experience, skills and qualifications:-

- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Previous experience of managing a portfolio of accounting clients within an Accountancy Practice
- Proven experience in working on large/complex clients - consolidated group structure and with a turnover of £5m+
- Experience of accounting software, Sage and MS Excel, Outlook and Word
- Staff supervisory experience
- Experience of operating within the not-for-profit sect, including academies and charities
