Finance Assistant (Part-Time)

FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR / ASSISTANT: 

Due to additional workload, a company based in Birmingham City now have the part time IMMEDIATE requirement for an Finance Administrator / Assistant to start in December/first week of January. To attract only the very best of candidate, a fixed term contract of 10 months will apply with potential of extension. This will enable the successful applicant to gauge a good working knowledge of the working environment, as well as be inducted into a well respected business. 


To note, this role will be working on a part time basis, Monday - Friday (days can be negotiated to 3 or 4 full days) approx 25 hours per week for 10 months. You can expect to be involved with all aspects of accounting administration, with nominal ledgers, accounts payable, training pack creation and credit control being your main focuses. Additionally, this role would ideally suit an AAT holder (level 4 preferred) with solid experience in the office environment, that also enjoys flexible contracting and has immediate availability. 

WORKING HOURS: 

- 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday, part time 
- Fixed term contract for 10 months, possible extension

DUTIES INVOLVED IN THIS VACANCY: 

- Creation of training packs, documenting and some data entry 
- Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger as well as some sales invoices 
- Petty cash, budget and some forecasting 
- Accounts queries, cheque payments and administrative duties 
- Month end, reconciliation work and other 

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR THIS VACANCY: 

- AAT studier or Qualified (Essential) 
- Recent experience within an office environment 
- Numeric, accurate and a strong work ethic 
- An excellent manner 
- An ability to communicate effectively and be available IMMEDIATELY
