Fund Accounting Manager 

Maldon Partners is working with an Investment Manager who are looking for a Fund Accounting Manager to join their team. This is very much an oversight role and will require someone with a strong Fund Accounting Knowledge.

Responsibilities

* Review of daily NAVs, resolve daily issues
* Assist to compliance on errors / breaches
* Review of distributions, secure sign off
* Review cash and stock recs
* Sign off audit plans, monitor FS preparation and audit to ensure timely completion
* Review tax return, secure sign off
* Monitor that tax returns are filed and tax paid within the deadline
* Resolution of tax questions in liaison with tax advisors
* Review FA KPIs, prepare trend analysis, raise any risk and propose course of action
* Assistance on Money market funds dealing, daily FX spots, hedging
* Liaise with Senior Manager Risk & Monitoring and the team on money market funds dealing, Feeder fund dealing in the Master, FX spots and hedging

Requirements

* Qualified Accountant
* Knowledge of the financial services industry
* Min 3 years Fund Accounting experience
* Exposure to Financial Statements preparation / understanding of Financial Statements
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP
