Accountant

Job purpose:

AETOS Capital Group (AETOS) is one of the major non-banking financial institutions in Australia focusing on derivatives trading including forex, precious metals, energy and other trading products.. AETOS has business in most of the Asia-Pacific regions and aims to build a world-class trading platform for investors worldwide to enjoy advanced technology and reliable customer service. AETOS is now expanding to Europe and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a high-caliber accountant to serve in its newly-established finance section in London.

Duties:

• Monthly preparation of subsidiary management accounts and budgets
• Nominal ledger reconciliations
• Issuing invoices/credit notes
• Rectifying any payment/banking issues
• Dealing with tax/audit related enquiries
• Payroll administration
• Support Group Finance Manager in Hong Kong with completion of ad hoc tasks as required.

Essential Skills\Experience:

• Partially ACCA-qualified
• Prior experience of working in an accounts department
• A comprehensive understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
• Long-term interest in a career in finance
• Can work independently and knowledge on Mandarin preferred

Salary range: GBP33K to GBP38K per annum
