triReduce Client Manager

Key Responsibilities
General
We are looking for a Client Manager to join our London based triReduce Service Management team. The candidate will be technical (with a maths or programming focus), have a meticulous attention to detail and a broad understanding of OTC derivatives (rates, CDS, FX an commodities, for example) and risk. Good written and verbal communication skills in English are a must. Candidates with 1-4 years prior experience in middle office, finance or having worked with trade compression are especially welcome to apply for the position.
The London triReduce Service Management team is the first line of contact for our clients with regard to the delivery of the triReduce OTC derivative trade compression service. He or she will provide support to our clients in Front, Middle and Back office and work closely with the production, business and sales teams globally.
Service Management is responsible for the smooth running of the triReduce service. This team of dedicated staff is in continuous dialogue with major financial institutions worldwide, as well as other internal departments, in regards to upcoming cycles, trade data uploads, market and credit risk issues as well as any changes or developments to any aspects of the service, such as new assets classes and products, or changes to the service. Similarly, Service Management must continually stay abreast of any market or client events, activities or changes that potentially affect our service or our clients’ use of our offering or ability to participate in cycles.
Key responsibilities
  • Trade data normalisation / handling;
  • Liaising with subscribers on all issues relating to the service (via mail, phone and face-toface);
  • Working with clients on market and credit risk tolerances and issues;
  • Promoting comprehensive and more effective usage of the service;
  • Raising internal request for new functionalities and assisting in UAT testing;
  • Client training (current and new functionalities, new client on-boarding);
Key skills
  • IT/Technical
    • The ability to interpret trade data;
    • Proficiency in using text editors and advanced spreadsheet functions;
    • Understanding of programming would be beneficial (e.g. VBA or Python).
    • Basic understanding of database structures, as well as interrogation using SQL would be highly beneficial
  • Customer relationship skills;
  • Communication skills: verbal and written. The ability to understand complex process financial concepts, as well as the ability to explain these accurately and concisely to our clients;
  • Knowledge of OTC Derivatives. Thorough understanding of the trade data fields of these instruments as well as awareness of the OTC Derivative trade processing lifecycle;
  • Basic understanding of market and credit risk management of OTC Derivatives, such as yield curves and valuation;
