Join one of the world's leading business schools
Alliance Manchester Business School is the largest campus based business school in the UK, with an extensive global network of centres in Dubai, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and São Paulo. We have a strong reputation for high quality international research, excellent teaching and impactful engagement with business. We are a triple accredited, innovative, world class school, providing cutting-edge business and management education to undergraduates, postgraduates, experienced practitioners and those with academic and research ambitions.
We are currently looking for new academic members of staff to join our Marketing Group.
Joining our marketing academics within the Division of Management Sciences and Marketing, (MSM), you should have interests and expertise in at least one of the following marketing sub-disciplines: consumer behaviour; market research; retail marketing; marketing communications; branding; services marketing; marketing analytics, and ethics and sustainability. MBS is interested in those who have both experience of creating programmes for enhancing teaching quality and the learning experience and also active researchers, who will be expected to make a significant research contribution to the Division and School. This necessarily includes the ability to produce papers in leading international, peer-reviewed journals for inclusion in any future forms of national-level research assessment.
Any member of academic staff joining us will be encouraged to make teaching contributions at a variety of levels, including undergraduate, MSc and MBA. There may also be scope for teaching and additional earning at the executive level and on our Global MBA programme. A PhD (or very close to completion) is a requirement to apply for the posts.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as female candidates are currently under-represented at this level in this area, we would particularly welcome applications from female candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.
