Assistant Manager - Financial Accounting Services

We are working with an international chartered consultancy located in the heart of London. 

Due to huge success and subsequent growth of the outsourcing team, we are working closely with the firm to recruit a qualified Management Accountant to join the as an Assistant Manager. 

In this newly created role, working alongside senior team members, your primary responsibility will be to manage a portfolio of property clients, including one of the firms' largest and most recent client, as well as supervising Accounts Assistants and Finance Administrators. 

Technical aspects of the position include - 

* Preparation of monthly financial reporting packs (accruals, prepayments, revenue reconciliation etc) for each individual property and consolidation at a group level 
* Review of purchase agreements, completion statements and operating leases to ensure the correct accounting treatment is followed 
* Preparation of cash flow projections and cash flow statements 
* Full review of management accounts, reports and VAT returns, ensuring technical accuracy and that any anomalies are investigated and resolved 
* Preparation of statutory financial statements ready for audit

You will have direct client contact, dealing with technical queries, liaising with external auditors and tax advisors, and assisting the Department Manager as and when required.. 

It is essential, to apply you will - 
* Be ACA/ ACCA qualification (or equivalent) 
* Have experience at some point in your career working in an accountancy providing accounting services to a portfolio of clients, reviewing accounts prepared by team members. 
* Very good VAT knowledge 
* Good knowledge and experience with Quickbooks online or Xero software
