IFRS 9 Financial Accounting Manager - Interim

A global banking organisation, based in the City of London, are looking to recruit an IFRS 9 Financial Accounting Manager to work on the implementation of IFRS 9 across the business subsiduries

This role will be a 12 month contract & will involve a really exciting project and a high level of autonomy within the role

It will require a candidate from a strong ACA, CIMA, ACCA background (or equivalent) and ideally a Big 4 practice or a banking environment.

A detailed knowledge (practical) of IFRS 9 is essential.

Specific Tasks will include:

Being the key contact for IFRS 9 classification, implementing any required changes & monitoring as the project takes hold

Assisting with the monitoring of accounting developments in Hedge accounting

Responsible for working alongside the team with the production of annual and interim reports

Qualified Accountant

An understanding of the operation, risk and accounting of banking and investment products

A practical knowledge of IFRS 9
